Terms and Conditions

  • Fees for all coaching sessions must be paid for no later than 24 hours in advance. If payment is not received, the lesson will be cancelled and the slot made available to someone else.
  • Fees for workshops will be agreed between Activate Your Voice and the client.
  • Payment is by bank transfer.
  • If the client cancels a session within 48 hours’ notice, it will have to be paid for in full.
  • If the client is late to a session or wishes to leave early, there will be no adjustment to the fees. However, if the teacher starts late this shall be remedied by extending the lesson where possible, or a reduction in fees.
  • Please log on promptly to the online session and ensure you have a reliable WiFi connection. If the client has any technical difficulties, the teacher will need to be informed prior to the session so an alternative platform can be used. If the client cannot access any alternative platform during the session, the lesson will be charged for in full.
  • Please have any relevant materials ready at the start of the session, e.g., pens, paper, folders etc.
  • The client agrees that they will not publish or distribute any portion of any materials without prior written consent from Activate Your Voice.
  • The client agrees that exercises or homework, such as vocal exercises or memorising lines, are an important part of learning and agrees to complete such work in between each session.
  • A retainer fee may be payable in the event of taking a break from sessions in order to secure your preferred time slot.
  • This agreement may be terminated by either party at any time by giving two-weeks’ notice.
  • Data is stored securely, and our Privacy Policy is available to view here.
  • Where the client is a legal minor, the parent, guardian, or carer shall enter into this tutoring agreement on their behalf. They shall accept and agree to all the terms and conditions contained herein on behalf of the client.
